You can get started with our "Get to Know Your Digital Camera" one day, two-hour, personalized consultation for just $60.

For only $60, you will receive two hours of 1 on 1 personalized training to learn how to effectively use your camera. Please note: This class is limited to digital camera functions only. Be sure to bring the owner's manual.

The cost for classes ranges from $125-$425. Classes are 2 hours a week and, depending on the class, have a duration from two to five weeks.

We also offer private sessions at $55.00 per hour. For private sessions, there is a minimum of 1 hour per session.

There are several levels to a course. Each level is four weeks long. Each weekly session is two hours. Keep in mind that a course can be revisited multiple times to facilitate learning new concepts and rehearse previously taught topics.

Digital Camera Basics
Find out what all those buttons on your camera do! This introductory course helps you move from automatic to manual settings as you gain an understanding of the parts and functions of a camera including: aperture, shutter, ISO, custom functions, and various other menu items. Distinctions between camera lenses are also addressed.

Nikon Digital Camera Basics
Finally, a class for users of Nikons (AKA-Nikonians). At tRg, you now have a class tailored to the complex functions and powerful capabilities unique to Nikon digital cameras. Let us help simplify the multiple steps inherent in this camera and endless array of buttons and menus. This serves as a great transitional training for those moving from digicams to digital SLRs.

Canon Digital Camera Basics
Finally, a class for users of Canon Cameras. At tRg, you now have a class tailored to the complex functions and powerful capabilities unique to Canon Digital SLR Cameras. This serves as a great transitional training for those moving from digicams to digital SLRs. There is beginner, intermediate and advanced four week course available.

Digital Camera RAW
RAW is an unprocessed digital image. In digital photography, the negative is not gone! We have a new negative. If you've heard of a film negative, then think of a RAW file as a digital negative. For people who want to prepare an image prior to taking it to the kiosk of your local photo retailer to be printed, this class will show you how to go into your very own digital darkroom and handle the processing in-house. **Please Note** This is a two week course, followed by two weeks of your choice of an introduction to Adobe® LightRoom or Adobe® Photoshop.

Photoshop
Adobe® Photoshop is a powerful photo and image editing application. With this course, tRg will walk you through a full range of Photoshop functions, tools and techniques, and place you well on your way to working like a pro. Learn how to use the program to enhance your imagery through: layers and selections features, adjusting, manipulating, and retouching digital photos and images, as well as techniques for saving, outputting, and presenting your work.

Photoshop Elements
This class is an introduction to the program Adobe® Photoshop Elements. Adobe® Photoshop Elements is an easier to use version of Photoshop.

If you found Adobe Photoshop too hot to handle, may we offer Photoshop Elements which is built around the Photoshop feature-set and interface. Through tips, tutorials, and hands-on practice, we will help you bring out the best in your photos. This is an essential class for existing users and the best choice for novices looking for a complete digital-imaging solution. Step by step, concept by concept, tool by tool, you'll gradually work through a thorough examination of Photoshop Elements and the incredible things it can do for your images.

Portrait Lighting
Good portrait photography is a combination of finding good light, making your subject feel at ease, and understanding a few basic portrait photography concepts.  Learn some of the best techniques for capturing those special, personalized portraits of family and friends that we all yearn to create. You will also have the exclusive opportunity to experience portrait photography instruction in the unique setting of a working professional studio, as well as hands-on practice photographing a model. If you are interested in enhancing your skills in moving beyond the mere average portrait, this class is for you!

Studio Lighting
This course will give detailed, specific techniques and present new tools used for lighting different subjects. You will learn to light shapes, products (such as food), and how to control light with objects. You will practice using a continous light source as well as studio flash. Students are expected to bring in items of interest. The techniques learned in class provide you with the confidence to use an artificial light source in low light or to add emotion and interest to images in order to further express your vision.

Fashion Photography
Here is your opportunity to photograph models in a studio while learning the basics of studio lighting. Class time will be spent discussing the fashion idea, the basics of styling and makeup, working with modeling agencies, & shooting in the studio and on location, Assignments will cover hair, cosmetic and perfume product segments as well as workout, lingerie and swimwear. Sessions will focus on a greater understanding of the genre with an emphasis on the importance of styling. Shooting assignments and critiques are designed to guide students through a series of lighting situations and to develop a personal sense of vision and creativity. Critiques will focus on each student’s vision and technical execution.

High School Photographers Development Program 15+
tRg photography is pleased to bring a first-ever class of its kind to Tampa Bay. Being in a working professional commercial photography studio, high school students ages 15+,  who are serious about developing their photography skills will sharpen their skills, explore their talents, build their portfolio and learn more about career possibilities in the photographic industry.  
From capture to output, students will make images in today’s modern digital imaging environment and learn to identify and control color using Photoshop.
This is a five week course. Class size is 1-3 students. Available class days are Saturdays 2-4pm, 4-6pm, or 6-8pm. Mondays 6-8pm. Upon registration, contact tRg Studio with your preferred day and time.
Student must present high school ID on the first day of class.

**Note**
This class is only for high school students 15-19 years of age.

Wedding Lighting
This is a four week course. There will be a live model provided once during the course. You will learn standard poses and lighting setups for wedding portrait photography. Topics learned include:

Basic Flash Photography
Learn to effectively use your on camera flash as well as portable flash. Explore the principles of using a portable, external flash. Learn:
• how flash works
•  the different types of portable flash
•  on camera and off camera flash
•  using a portable flash as a main light source
versus a fill light, bouncing the flash, sync speeds and more.

Business of Photography
Learn the concepts behind contracts, billing, releases and marketing. This is a three week, assignment based course.
